Bush era is nearly over and good riddance!

Auto Insurance viagra online

How glad are we al to see the back of Bush in the USA. Loads but the problems caused will take decades to rectify.

How can anyone get away with what he got away with and also the CIa 911 fiasco etc.

It amazes me how anything so obvious can be so boldly ignored.

Most people say so what can we do?

Easy dont vote in idiots and if something smells like a rat it usually is.

There are covert groups who always try to control countries and until the world people regardless of ethnicity learn to live together then this planet and everyone on it will only find a slow progress and wars and starvation and disease.

Someone once asked me so where is humanities future whats in store for us all.

I simply said ‘WHAT FUTURE!’

Watch Pakistan it is a nuclear country and Taliban and Osama Bin Laden want control and then you can imagine.

The Pakistani army has suffered big losses more than reported so what next unless someone gets this under control it will lead to trouble.

PAKISTAN VOTES TO ABANDON US WAR ON TERROR

    Saeed Shah, Islamabad
    (”The Age” newspaper)
    Date: October 25 2008

PAKISTAN’S parliament has set what could be a collision course with Washington and NATO by passing a sweeping resolution calling for dialogue with extremist groups operating in the country and an end to military action.
The new strategy, backed by all parties, emerged after a fierce debate in parliament where most parliamentarians said Pakistan was paying an unacceptable price for fighting “America’s war”. If implemented by the Government, support for Pakistan from international allies would come under severe strain, adding further instability to a country facing rising violence and economic collapse.
“We need to prioritise our own national security interests,” said Raza Rabbani, a leading member of the ruling Pakistan People’s Party. “As far as the US is concerned, the message that has gone with this resolution will definitely ring alarm bells, vis-a-vis their policy of bulldozing Pakistan.”
Pakistan is confronting multiple crises, political, security and financial, which threaten to overwhelm the nuclear-armed country and push it into chaos. It is heading towards bankruptcy, forcing Islamabad this week to approach the International Monetary Fund for a rescue package. But the IMF bail-out could be jeopardised if Washington is not on board.
Ordinary people complain that the country feels like it is falling apart, with a severe shortage of electricity causing blackouts of 12 hours or more in many areas, and crippling food price inflation, running at up to 100%, swelling the numbers living under the poverty line.
The intense American pressure on Islamabad to take on the militants was underlined on Thursday by another US missile strike inside Pakistani territory, an instance of the heavy-handed intervention that parliament railed against. The attack came in Pakistan’s border area with Afghanistan, at an Islamic school being used by suspected extremists, killing 11. The madrassa was linked to Afghan Taliban commander Jalaluddin Haqqani, who has an extensive network in Pakistan.
There have been about a dozen US missile strikes inside Pakistan since the beginning of September and a ground assault, which have fanned massive anti-Americanism in the country. The US and NATO depend on Pakistan to prevent its tribal area being used as a haven for Afghan Taliban.
Past attempts by Pakistan at making peace with militant groups in the tribal area have allowed them to regroup and led to a sharp increase in cross-border attacks against coalition forces in Afghanistan.
Yesterday a US official made clear what Washington expected. “Pakistan needs to and is attacking insurgents in its northern areas,” said deputy US assistant secretary of state Patrick Moon during a visit to Kabul. “Sanctuaries for Afghanistan Taliban in Pakistan complicate our security operations.
“Pakistani Taliban and other extremists such as al-Qaeda are posing a threat to the stability of Pakistan.”
The country’s north-west, especially its tribal border area with Afghanistan, is under the control of Taliban and al-Qaeda, who are connected to militant groups that have networks across the country.

    WARNING BELLS.

One of the main architects of the Bush government fiasco and the present Iraq War endorsing McCain how wonderful (not).

Obama exploits Cheney endorsement of McCainEwen MacAskill, Washington guardian.co.uk, Sunday November 02 2008 17.02 GMT
    Article history
Barack Obama’s team moved quickly to exploit what it viewed as a late and unexpected campaign gift, the endorsement of John McCain in a rare public appearance by vice-president Dick Cheney.

In contrast with President George Bush’s absence from the campaign trail at the weekend, Cheney flew to his home state Wyoming to speak at a rally in support the Republican ticket.

“John is a man who understands the danger facing America, he’s a man who has looked into the face of evil and not flinched, he’s a man who is comfortable with responsibility, and has been since he joined the armed forces at the age of 17. He has earned our support and confidence, and the time is now to make him commander in chief,” Cheney told a rally in Laramie yesterday.

The endorsement may help McCain with loyal Republicans but not with those who disenchanted with the Bush-Cheney administration or independents angry over the stewardship of the last eight years.

McCain has been at pains to distance himself from the administration, pointedly saying in the final presidential debate that he was not Bush, one of the most unpopular presidents in US history.

Obama’s team, whose campaign theme is that McCain would represent a continuation of the Bush-Cheney administration, put out an advert within 90 minutes of Cheney’s endorsement as well as placing a clip of Cheney’s speech on YouTube.

The 30-second ad says: “Barack Obama. Endorsed by Warren Buffett and Colin Powell. And John McCain’s latest endorsement?”

Cheney has publicly announced his endorsement for McCain before but, like Bush, has been largely absent from the campaign over the last two months.

His decision to participate in this weekend’s rally was prompted partly by a desire to speak on behalf the Republican Congressional candidates, not just McCain, and partly to deliver what amounted to a reflective and emotional look back on his own career. He retires from politics on inauguration day, January 20.

He told the rally he had begun campaigning for a place in Congress in 1978. “I’ve had a long career in politics, though today, looking back, it seems to have passed in the blink of an eye,” he said.

He devoted most of his speech to praising the Congressional candidates but included passages on McCain, and, in particular, Sarah Palin, who is closer to the vice-president’s brand of conservatism. “I’m delighted to support John McCain, and I’m pleased that he has chosen a running mate with executive talent, toughness, and common sense: our next vice-president, governor Sarah Palin,” he said.

    Bin Laden in Pakistan?
    Charles R. Smith
    Saturday, July 26, 2003

PAKISTANI GOVERNMENT HELPING AL QAEDA HIDE.

Osama bin Laden is living in Pakistan, according to a former Indian general, and members of the Pakistani Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) know where he is.

“Some of the ISI know his whereabouts,” stated K.P.S. Gill, a former Indian general and a leading expert on international terrorism. “Certainly not the hierarchy but some of the lower-level members know.”

“The footprint of every major act of international terrorism over the past decade invariably passes through Pakistan,” stated Dr. Ajai Sahni, the executive director of the Institute for Conflict Management, an anti-terrorism foundation located in India.

“It is notable that the arrests of several senior al-Qaeda operatives, including Khalid Sheikh Mohammad and Yasser al Jazira, were not from localities in the madrassas-dominated poorer quarters, but from some of the best quarters of Karachi and Islamabad – localities dominated by military officers and government servants,” stated Dr. Sahni.

The statements by former Gen. Gill and Dr. Sahni were made during a meeting on the India-U.S. Partnership Against Terrorism, hosted by the American Foreign Policy Council, a Washington, D.C.-based think tank.

Gill is considered to be India’s foremost expert on terrorism and counter-insurgency. Currently residing in New Delhi, he is the president of the Institute for Conflict Management and a member of India’s National Security Advisory Board.

    Pakistan Relocates Osama

“The fact is significant factions of the Pakistani army and the Inter Services Intelligence – with the backing of various Pakistani terrorist groups – have been actively facilitating the relocation of the al-Qaeda from Afghanistan to Pakistan,” said Dr. Sahni.

“Each arrest of al-Qaeda top leadership in Pakistan takes place after the FBI and U.S. investigators effectively gather evidence to force Pakistani cooperation. Little of this evidence has come from the Pakistani agencies, which consistently seek to deny the presence of al-Qaeda in their country and mislead U.S. investigators to the extent possible,” stated Sahni.

“This deception has been at the very highest level,” noted Sahni.

The comments by Gill and Sahni came in the wake of a major terrorist strike in Kashmir that killed over a dozen Indian defense officials, including at least three army generals. Defense Minister George Fernandes accused the Lashkar-e-Taiba separatist group of mounting the raids.

“We should not get overly alarmed,” Fernandes said about the latest terror attacks. “We are a big country, the challenges we are facing are big, the army is fighting them.”

In addition, India accused China of crossing into its territory. According to official Indian defense sources, while Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee was winding up a historic six-day trip to China on June 26, a “Chinese patrol” crossed the Line of Actual Control (LAC) into the Upper Subansiri district of the northeastern Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.

Both Dr. Sahni and Gen. Gill expressed concern about the growing situation with China, North Korea and Pakistan, calling the three nations a “triangle” threatening world peace.

    China Sponsors Terror States

China has supplied nuclear weapons designs and DF-11 ballistic missiles to Pakistan. In addition, recent U.S. and Indian intelligence reports show that China is acting as a go-between for exchanges of nuclear and missile technology between Pakistan and North Korea.

“Pakistan, North Korea and China are part of a triangle. Most of the advanced technology that North Korea and Pakistan are exchanging is Chinese. So we are not talking about Pakistan and North Korea exchanging indigenously developed technology – we are talking about the cross-border transfer of Chinese technology, something which has been engineered by the source, and that, in fact, is China,” stated Sahni.

“It is our general perception that Chinese intentions are the most dangerous when they are least suspected,” concluded Sahni.

Saad bin Laden Leaves Iran, Goes Home to Papa in Pakistan

Osama bin Laden’s son, Saad bin Laden, has returned to Pakistan. Does this mean that papa bin Laden is dead or injured and his next-in-line is coming home to take over? (according to DR Jon Sherwood NO he is very much alive and still living in Pakistan planning his next moves) Or is this part of the re-grouping and re-organizing of al-Qaeda? (sounds like it) Where has Saad bin Laden and other al-Qaeda leadership been lately? In IRAN !!!

Osama bin Laden’s son, Saad has returned to Pakistan according to messages posted on a Jihad web forum.
Al Qaeda is consolidating its leadership in the territory under its control in Pakistan.

Osama bin Laden’s son and heir apparent, Sa’ad bin Laden, has returned to Pakistan from his safe haven in Iran, according to messages posted on a Qaeda jihad Web forum known as al-Hesbah.

An organization that tracks and translates discussions on such forums, the SITE Institute, provided its subscribers with a summary of messages describing what it said was an escape by Sa’ad bin Laden from an Iranian prison. American counterterrorism officials, however, have considered him to be under a permissive version of house arrest since the American invasion of Afghanistan, in 2001.

The move of Sa’ad bin Laden to Pakistan tracks with the movements of other senior jihadists to the country since Al Qaeda re-established a safe haven in the 10,500-square-mile area that comprises the provinces along the border with Afghanistan.

It also could signal a new phase of Iran’s relationship with Al Qaeda. For the last year, public messages from the terrorist organization’s second in command, Ayman al-Zawahri, have accused Iran of collaborating with America in fighting Al Qaeda in Iraq. Leaders of the Iraqi tribal uprising against Al Qaeda, however, have said Iran has collaborated with their foes.

While Al Qaeda, a Sunni Salafist organization, regards the Shiite theocracy of Iran as an apostate form of Islam, the two sides in the past have worked together through Iran’s Quds Force, an elite unit of the Iranian army. In 2001, following the American invasion of Afghanistan, most of Al Qaeda’s leadership fled to Pakistan. But others, including Sa’ad bin Laden and Saif al-Adel, fled to eastern Iran.

BUSH HAD NO PLAN TO CATCH BIN LADEN

    By Gareth Porter

WASHINGTON - New evidence from former United States officials reveals that Osama bin Laden and other al-Qaeda leaders were able to skip Afghanistan for Pakistan unimpeded in the first weeks after September 11, 2001, as the George W Bush administration failed to plan to block their retreat.
Top administration officials instead gave priority to planning for war with Iraq, leaving the United States with not nearly enough troops or strategic airlift capacity to close the large number of possible exit routes through the Afghanistan-Pakistan border area where Bin Laden escaped in late 2001.

Because it had not been directed to plan for that contingency, the US military was also forced to turn down an offer from then Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf in late November 2001 to send 60,000 troops to intercept the al-Qaeda leaders.

As Northern Alliance troops marched on Kabul with little resistance in November 2001, the Central Intelligence Agency had intelligence that Bin Laden was headed for a cave complex in the Tora Bora Mountains close to the Pakistani border.

The war had ended only days earlier, much more quickly than expected, and United States Central Command (CENTCOM) commander Tommy Franks, responsible for the war in Afghanistan, had no forces in position to block bin Laden’s exit.

Franks asked Lieutenant General Paul T Mikolashek, commander of Army Central Command (ARCENT), if his command could provide a blocking force between al-Qaeda and the Pakistani border, according to David W Lamm, who was then commander of ARCENT Kuwait.

Lamm, a retired army colonel, recalled in an interview that there was no way to fulfill the CENTCOM commander’s request, because ARCENT had neither the troops nor the strategic lift in Kuwait required to put such a force in place.

“You looked at that request, and you just shook your head,” recalled Lamm, now chief of staff of the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies at the National Defense University.

Franks apparently already realized that he would need Pakistani help in blocking the al-Qaeda exit from Tora Bora. Secretary of defense Donald Rumsfeld told a National Security Council meeting that Franks “wants the [Pakistanis] to close the transit points between Afghanistan and Pakistan to seal what’s going in and out”, according to the National Security Council meeting transcript in Bob Woodward’s book Bush at War.

Bush responded that they would need to “press Musharraf to do that”.

A few days later, Franks made an unannounced trip to Islamabad to ask Pakistani leader Pervez Musharraf to deploy troops along the Pakistan-Afghan border near Tora Bora.

A deputy to Franks, Lieutenant General Mike DeLong, later claimed that Musharraf had refused Franks’s request for regular Pakistani troops to be repositioned from the north to the border near the Tora Bora area. DeLong wrote in his 2004 book Inside Centcom that Musharraf had said he “couldn’t do that”, because it would spark a “civil war” with a hostile tribal population.

But US ambassador Wendy Chamberlin, who accompanied Franks to the meeting with Musharraf, provided an account of the meeting to this writer that contradicts DeLong’s claim.

Chamberlin, now president of the Middle East Institute in Washington, recalled that the Pakistani president told Franks that CENTCOM had vastly underestimated what was required to block bin Laden’s exit from Afghanistan. Musharraf said, “Look you are missing the point: there are 150 valleys through which al-Qaeda are going to stream into Pakistan,” according to Chamberlin.

Although Musharraf admitted that the Pakistani government had never exercised control over the border area, the former diplomat recalled, he said this was “a good time to begin”. The Pakistani president offered to redeploy 60,000 troops to the area from the border with India but said his army would need airlift assistance from the United States.

But the Pakistani redeployment never happened, according to Lamm, because it wasn’t logistically feasible. Lamm recalled that it would have required an entire aviation brigade, including hundreds of helicopters, and hundreds of support troops to deliver that many combat troops to the border region - far more than was available.

Lamm said the ARCENT had so few strategic lift resources that it had to use commercial aircraft at one point to move US supplies in and out of Afghanistan.

Even if the helicopters had been available, however, they could not have operated with high effectiveness in the mountainous Afghanistan-Pakistan border region near the Tora Bora caves, according to Lamm, due to a combination of high altitude and extreme weather.

Franks did manage to insert 1,200 marines into Kandahar on November 26 to establish control of the airbase there. They were carried to the base by helicopters from an aircraft carrier that had steamed into the Gulf from the Pacific, according to Lamm.

The marines patrolled roads in the Kandahar area hoping to intercept al-Qaeda officials heading toward Pakistan. But DeLong, now retired, said in an interview that the marines would not have been able to undertake the blocking mission at the border. “It wouldn’t have worked - even if we could have gotten them up there,” he said. “There weren’t enough to police 1,500 kilometers of border.”

US troops probably would also have faced armed resistance from the local tribal population in the border region, according to DeLong. The tribesmen in local villages near the border “liked bin Laden”, he said “because he had given them millions of dollars”.

Had the Bush administration’s priority been to capture or kill the al-Qaeda leadership, it would have deployed the necessary ground troops and airlift resources in the theater over a period of months before the offensive in Afghanistan began.

“You could have moved American troops along the Pakistani border before you went into Afghanistan,” said Lamm. But that would have meant waiting until spring 2002 to take the offensive against the Taliban, according to Lamm.

The views of Bush’s key advisers, however, ruled out any such plan from the start. During the summer of 2001 Rumsfeld refused to develop contingency plans for military action against al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, despite a National Security Presidential Directive that called for such planning, according to the 9-11 Commission report.

Rumsfeld and deputy defense secretary Paul Wolfowitz resisted such planning for Afghanistan because they were hoping that the White House would move quickly on military intervention in Iraq. According to the 9-11 Commission, at four deputies’ meetings on Iraq between May 31 and July 26, 2001, Wolfowitz pushed his idea to have US troops seize all the oil fields in southern Iraq.

Even after September 11, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and Vice President Dick Cheney continued to resist any military engagement in Afghanistan, because they were hoping for war against Iraq instead.

Bush’s top secret order of September 17 for war with Afghanistan also directed the Pentagon to begin planning for an invasion of Iraq, according to journalist James Bamford’s book Pretext for War.

Cheney and Rumsfeld pushed for a quick victory in Afghanistan in NSC meetings in October, as recounted by both Woodward and Undersecretary of Defense Douglas Feith. Lost in the eagerness to wrap up the Taliban and get on with the Iraq War was any possibility of preventing Bin Laden’s escape to Pakistan.

    MI6/CIA CHANGE HIS CHARTS (Please!)

I remember Dr Jon saying how one important thing the allies did during the Second World War was to sneak to direct their spies in Hitler’s ‘inner sanctum’ to change Hitler’s astrology charts.
Hitler who evidently was obsessed with Western astrology and used it to plot his key strategies/guide his invasions etc.,was said Dr Jon duped by English astrology scholarswho maufactured astrology data that was false and put this in place of the real data he was usually provided.
Hence he ended up making some fatal decsions based on this ‘false information’ falling into the allies hands.
I read a report from the ‘South Asia Analysis Group’ today which states Bin Laden (who Zarlen places ,at present, in Pakistan) is very much into astrology as well but does not use the Western calendar but the muslim calendar. So I figure can you friendly spooks out there track the b****** down and change his charts as who knows what he and his followers have planned.(Just an idea)

    THE REPORT:

    “WANTED: BIN LADEN’S HOROSCOPE - INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM MONITOR–PAPER NO. 138 ”

    By B. Raman

One of the most successful operatives of the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW), India’s external intelligence agency, was a Tamil police officer, who rose from the ranks. Mr.B.N. Mallick, the legendary head of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) for nearly 15 years, took him into the IB because of his reputation as a palmist and reader of horoscopes. He was very successful in the IB because many Indian politicians used to go to him for showing their palm or horoscope and consulting him on their future.

    2. When the R&AW was formed on September 21, 1968, through the bifurcation of the IB, Mr. R. N. Kao, its founding father, took him into the R&AW and posted him in quick succession to a number of South and South-East Asian countries. He was a roaring success. Not only the local political leaders, but also many senior local army officers used to seek his advice on their future. He used to read their hands, prepare horoscopes for them, give them predictions, suggest ways of placating Saturn, which is supposed to bring bad luck, and in return collect information and documents. He proved that a horoscope trap is a more enduring way of collecting intelligence than a honey trap. He is no more. It is a pity he did not record his memoirs as the spy who read horoscopes.

    3. There was one small station in South-East Asia where only the US and India had consulates in the late 1960s.The Indian Consulate was headed by this horoscope-reading officer and the US Consulate by an officer from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). The CIA officer, who had seen how popular was the R&AW officer because of his ability to read palms and horoscopes, requested him to teach him the art. The officer asked Mr. Kao for orders as to whether he should teach him.

    4. I was his controlling officer in the headquarters. I put up the message from him to Mr. Kao with the recommendation that the officer should agree, but teach the CIA officer all the wrong things so that his predictions went wrong. Mr. Kao did not agree and asked me to tell our officer that he should not teach him.

    5. One of the problems with a horoscope-reading intelligence operative is that you cannot keep him at the same station for too long. You have to shift him quickly before he was exposed due to his predictions proving wrong. That was why Mr. Kao rarely kept him at any station for more than 18 to 20 months. He used to have quick transfers. As a result, he had more foreign postings than any other R&AW officer of the late 1960s and early 1970s.

    6. I was reminded of this officer and his exploits as I read a report in the Pakistani media as to how the Mullas of the Ummah are greatly worried over the faith of the Muslims in astrology and horoscopes. They may read all the fatwas and rantings of Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri and others, take them seriously and act on them, but they also read equally seriously the astrology columns in their media and act on them. If there is a conflict between a fatwa of OBL and the predictions of their favourite astrologer, one does not know whose advice they follow.

    7. The creeping faith in astrology is undermining the Islamic faith even in Saudi Arabia, the sanctum sanctorum of Wahabism. The ‘Daily Times” of Lahore reported as follows on October 9, 2006: ” RIYADH: Clerics in Saudi Arabia have warned Arab media against publishing “forbidden” horoscopes, which are hugely popular despite a clerical ban. “This is astrology, which is forbidden and is considered as a form of magic,” a committee of senior Saudi clerics said in a statement published on state news agency SPA late on Saturday. “The committee reminds Muslims and journalists in particular that it is their obligation to take advice from God, His Prophet and the clergy,” it said, adding that all schools of Islamic law forbid such practices. “Believing that a certain star can be the cause of happiness or misfortune is a superstition from the pre-Islamic age…,” the prominent clerics said. Saudi-owned newspapers based in London such as Asharq al-Awsat and al-Hayat have started publishing horoscopes in recent years and fortune tellers appear on Saudi-owned television stations based outside the kingdom. “Many Saudis don’t know their birth date on the Christian calendar so they don’t care about horoscopes, but the new generation is obsessed by them,” the editor of a popular Saudi daily told Reuters. He did not want to be identified. “It’s blatantly un-Islamic, we won’t do it,” he added.”

    8. Ever since the 9/11 terrorist strikes in the US, intelligence agencies have been worried as to how to penetrate Al Qaeda and other jihadi terrorist organisations, how to counter them ideologically, how to improve the psychological warfare (PSYWAR) against them etc. Can palm and horoscope reading prove better weapons than Predator aircraft and helicopter gunships? These are ideas worth exploring.

    9. One of my Muslim sources told me recently that OBL carefully chooses the dates and days for his operations and that certain numbers have a deep religious significance for him. He does not use the Christian calendar. While choosing the dates for his operations, he goes by the Muslim calendar.

    10. The source said that it is not sufficient to alert the physical security set-ups on the anniversary of 9/11 according to the Christian calendar. One must find out what was the date according to the Muslim calendar on 9/11 and be careful on that day. He said that all intelligence officers and counter-terrorism experts should know how to read and use the Muslim calendar.

    11. Sheikh sahab, where are you? Do you have your horoscope? If not, do you want one prepared? If so, please do let me know.

    The Year of the Rooster

    Personality

Occupying the 10th position in the Chinese Zodiac, the Rooster symbolizes such character traits as confidence, pompousness and motivation. Those born under the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Rooster are loyal, trustworthy individuals who are blunt when it comes to offering their opinions. Their bluntness stems not from being mean but from being honest; a trait which Roosters expect from others.
Roosters are extremely sociable and prefer being the center of attention,
Some may engage in bragging about themselves and their accomplishments. They continually seek the unwavering attention of others which can be annoying. roosters are extremely organized individuals …

    Fire Rooster – 1957

Fire Roosters spend much of their time perfecting their images. They’re terrific social organizers and excellent leaders. However they are overly blunt and this trait often hurts the feelings of others.

If the information for the approximate time for his birth is the 6.45-7.00 am this would indicate his ascension sign is the rabbit or hare which is the ‘most’ intuitive out of all of the signs of the chinese zodiac, but it is also ‘opposite to the rooster’ in the scheme of how these energies work. The ascension side is the hidden side of the personality which can rise unknowingly could this opposite dynaic create an inner turmoil in this particular personality as the rabbit/hare sign is characterized as the ‘peace-maker’,'peace-seeker’ etc. is emotive and sensitive and likes relaxation mode .The rooster meanwhile is highly, active blunt to the point of ‘insensitivity’ etc.

UNCERTAINTY ON BIN LADEN’S ACTUAL BIRTHDATE MAY PRECLUDE AN ASTROLOGICAL PROFILE.

    (Birth Data Comment)

    from Michael Rideout :

    Regarding the birth date of Usamah Bin-Ladin, I’ve seen web pages that mention only a year – 1955, 1956, 1957, and 1958 – and I’ve seen web pages and posts that give a variety of dates: March 10, 1957; April 7, 1957; June 28, 1957; July 28, 1957; July 30, 1957; and October 3, 1957.

I think the July 28, 1957 and July 30, 1957 dates look suspicious because they are approximately the first day of the Islamic year 1377 AH. The first day of each month is tricky to determine either ahead of time, or by a computer algorithm, because it begins when the crescent Moon is first spotted following the New Moon, and this event is subject to various factors. Also, the day begins at sunset on what we would call the previous day, so if for example the first day of 1377 AH was July 29, 1957, this would mean that it actually began at sunset on July 28, 1957!

Obviously, it’s possible that Bin-Ladin was indeed born on the first day of 1377 AH. However, I can’t help wondering if the July 28, 1957 and July 30, 1957 dates might conceivably have been arrived at in the following way:

    Question: “When was Bin-Ladin born?”

    Answer: “In 1377 AH.”

Question: “And when was 1377 AH?”

    Answer: “On July 28 [or 30], 1957.”

As far as the other dates, I’ve personally seen people convert dates incorrectly from one calendar to another. For example, I used to work for a Korean-born man (whose family moved to America when he was a child) who celebrates his birthday as February 14, 1958, although he told me that he actually has two birthdays. When I asked him what he meant, he said he’d been told that he was born on the 14th day of the 2nd month of the Year of the Dog. The Year of the Dog began in 1958, so he had arbitrarily decided to celebrate his birthday on February (2nd month) 14 (14th day), 1958 (Year of the Dog) – even though a correct conversion would put his birthday on about April 2, 1958 (depending on what time the day begins in Korea, as well as time zone considerations). The Year of the Dog didn’t even begin until February 18, 1958 – four days after the day he celebrates as his birthday! It might be possible that Bin-Ladin’s birthday – if it’s even known – was incorrectly converted in such a fashion (e.g., the 10th day of the 3rd month).

I would also point out the uncertainty surrounding Dodi’s birthday (remember Diana and Dodi?), as his birthday had been given as April 15, but it was stated by several people that it’s a fairly common practice in the Middle East to use the 15th of the month as the birthday, due to the fact that they don’t always note the actual day of birth, just the month and year of birth. Even though none of the dates given for Bin-Ladin fall on the 15th of a month in the Gregorian calendar, we should beware of the possibility of a similar practice of using some arbitrary day of the Islamic month of birth.

Then there is the possibility that, some years ago, someone in an intelligence agency may have heard that Bin-Ladin had just celebrated his birthday (if he even celebrates his birthday) on some day of the year, such as March 10. They may have then taken that date and used it with his year of birth, which seems to have been 1957 (or perhaps 1958). If this sort of thing did happen, it would be wrong, as a particular date (month and day) in the Islamic year does not fall on the same date each year in the Gregorian calendar. For example, if it had been learned that Bin-Laden had celebrated his 30th birthday on March 10, 1987, it would be incorrect to conclude that he was therefore born on March 10, 1957. It just doesn’t work that way.

Also, when Prince Dipendra murdered his family and shot himself, I saw some web pages which gave his birthday incorrectly, and they cited CIA sources! This makes me wonder if the “field information” gathered by intelligence agencies can be trusted, especially when it comes to people’s birthdays.

Additionally, there is always the chance that a Gregorian date written in numeric format might be misread, such as 3-10-1957 being variously read as either March 10, 1957 or 3 October, 1957.

In light of these facts and considerations, I would be extremely cautious about accepting *any* date of birth for Bin-Ladin without a grain of salt the size of Jupiter.

If you are somehow still in denial as to to just how badly the Bush-Cheney
administration and there rich mates took the US people for a ride F***ing up the US economy and world credibility in the process, a comparison…

When former US President Clinton was in power he presided over the longest period of peace-time economic expansion in American history, which included a balanced budget and a reported federal surplus.[6][7] Based on Congressional accounting rules, at the end of his presidency Clinton reported a surplus of $559 billion.

    Under George W Bush …
The deficit is on track to surpass one trillion for all of fiscal 2009, which began on Oct. 1, 2008.
The Congressional Budget Office projected last week that the federal budget deficit will hit an all-time high of 1.2 trillion dollars in the 2009 fiscal year.
The estimate doesn’t include the cost of a huge economic stimulus bill that U.S. President-elect Barack Obama is seeking approval from Congress. The bill is expected to be around 800 billion dollars over next two years.

“Watch Pakistan it is a nuclear country and Taliban and Osama Bin Laden want control and then you can imagine.

The Pakistani army has suffered big losses more than reported so what next unless someone gets this under control it will lead to trouble.”

Today out of curiosity I applied one the meditation techniques I was taught by Jonathan/Zarlen(Dr Sherwood) which is a form of astral projection. I don’t do this much but I was curious to gain information about Osama Bin Laden as Zarlen said he is definitely in Pakistan .
I succeeded in securing a fix on his whereabouts.
This is all I will say in relation to his whereabouts, his influence in Pakistan :

The southern sector of Pakistan is your best vantage point,(off the coast from the sea I mean). This is where you will gain the clearest perspective of things in Pakistan and the dangers within.Remember the populace is 95% muslim and as in the other countries you occupy the general population acts like a matrix around you inhibiting progress.Best plan outside then proceed with no or lttle modification while inside this territory.
So for those who are in charge of stategy off-shore , this is where you will gain your clearest insights, the most advanced communication etc., as to what is to come.

The northern sector of the country is where you (western forces) most lack knowledge of are unaware of, my advice is you are vulnerable in this region, you are capable of picking up certain trails in this region but will be advised to proceed with great cautiousness (though) as it is a case in this region you are more prey than predator.

The eastern sector of this country (Pakistan) is the least of your worries.Bordering India this sector is the most ‘neutral’ ,where your authority is most respected.

Meanwhile the Western sector is where you need to stand your ground, guard this territory viligantly (ferociously,) as it is here you have the resources you need. Although you may feel sometimes feel your efforts are not serving a purpose,(futile)they are buying time.Holding back the dam wall so to speak.

Sometimes I feel like I am living in the ‘Twilight Zone’ is it just me ?
As I look at a photograph of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert joking with Defence Minister Ehud Barak sat yesterday’s press conference, smiling and clowning around as Olmert cradles Barak’s face it evokes a sweet image while if I flick to the front of most of most National and international newspapers I see blood-stained civilians being dragged out of the CARNAGE of what was the Gaza strip!
A body counts of a thousand or more within days, many wowmen and children.
Is it just me or have we become so ‘de-sensitized’ as its OK to show this incompatable imagerry and go on about our way /
I remember Zarlen (Dr Jon Sherwood) saying :
“Universal law states if you use violence to defend ANY right, you FORFEIT that right ”
Regardless how much much propaganda is integrated into the media reprts we get / the depictions we see the of children and innocent civilians Lebanese or ANY human being whatsover be it Hamas or whomever there is NO place for this is a civilized world.
I remember when I was growing up here in Australia,my mother used to make sure me and my siblings watched every documentary on the atrocities the Nazis committed towards the Jewish citizens who lived in Germany and elsewhere in Europe.I was made to watch man;’s inhumanity to man.
Now I see the same thing,an indifference to human life, and I see the same media shots of Israels political leaders irrevently joking around with the same ’satanic grin’ we witnessed on George W Bush’s face when he spoke of people his forces had killed to defend against ‘terrorism’ or whatever the excuse was.
Sorry but MANY decent citizens around the world are not buying this Israel. You can use the usual ‘emotional leverage’(manipulative strategy and say this statement is anti-semitic but you have fresh blood on your hands.

UN chief Ban visits Gaza, pledges

    ( January 21, 2009 )

    Article from: Reuters

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, voicing shock and anger at the “heartbreaking” devastation, visited the Gaza Strip today to pledge aid for Palestinians after Israeli attacks killed 1300 and made thousands homeless.

Israel had withdrawn most of its force before US President Barack Obama was inaugurated — Israeli leaders seemed eager not to cloud the start of a new era in a key alliance.

Mr Obama’s predecessor George W. Bush endorsed Israel’s right to defend itself against rocket fire by Gaza’s ruling Islamists.

Since a ceasefire, though nothing like a peace accord, took hold on Sunday, Hamas has demonstrated it remains in charge in the coastal enclave. It held “victory” rallies to coincide with Mr Ban’s visit. Some speakers urged him and Western powers to end their boycott of Hamas, which won the last Palestinian election.

“I have seen only a fraction of the destruction. This is shocking and alarming,” Mr Ban said, condemning an “excessive use” of force by Israel as well as Hamas’s rocket fire into Israel.

“These are heartbreaking scenes I have seen and I am deeply grieved by what I have seen today,” he told a news conference held against a backdrop of still smoldering food aid in a U.N. warehouse set ablaze by Israeli gunfire last Thursday.

Mr Ban called the attack “outrageous” and demanded an inquiry and, if need be, the guilty to be held to account.

Israel blames Hamas for fighting around civilians and sites run by the United Nations, which provides support for much of the 1.5 million population. Most are from families of refugees who fled or were forced from homes in what became Israel in 1948.

Mr Ban, on a Middle East tour, was the most senior diplomatic figure to visit the territory in years, certainly since Hamas routed secular Fatah forces loyal to Western-backed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and seized control of Gaza in June 2007.
