PIne Gap is well known these days but what is not well known is the other secret underground base in South Australia that is entirely underground. Found by accident by a couple who were just travelling along the Great India Pacific railway line that runs from Port Augusta in South Australia to Perth in Western Australia. This is a great train ride and you can start it from Sydney. Anyway the couple were travelling along the service road when they came across 3 sidings that looked new. A small dirt road led from the sidings heading north so they followed it for approx 40 miles and then it turned into a black top road. Macadam type. This carried on for around a further 35 miles and as the road crested a hill they saw a military gate with towers just as a military base would be but no buildings on the surface that were visible and they could see for miles in any direction. Its pretty flat out there! US military personel guarded the gate uniforms were evident.
They retreated and went back a few miles and camped for the night as it was getting late and about midnight 3 hummers low rise vehicles with lights blazing appeared where they were camping and stoopped with lights blazing at them for a few minutes. They then left.
In the early morning they search the bush and found ground sensors all over so left the area.
We also had information that shortly after the base became active aircraft were dropping from the sky as an increase in aircraft accidents started to occur pilots would just pass out with passengers and the aircraft would just keep flying till it ran out of fuel.
Also an increase in UFO activity has increased in the area.
